Corrections Policy

When we make a mistake, we fix it quickly and say so.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the link to the article, what you believe is wrong, and the official source that shows the correct information. Branch staff, parents and students are all welcome to write in.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge correction requests within two working days.
  • An editor checks the claim against the official source.
  • If we were wrong, we correct the article promptly.
  • For significant errors (a wrong date, fee, eligibility rule or link), we add a note at the end of the article saying what was corrected and when.
  • Small fixes such as spelling or formatting are made without a note.

Updates versus corrections

When a school or board changes its own notice, we update the article and refresh the “Updated” date. That is an update, not a correction. A correction means we got something wrong.
