Bihar SLET Dummy Admit Card 2026: Correction Window Till 5 Nov

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has opened the dummy admit card and correction window for the School Librarian Eligibility Test (SLET) 2026. Candidates who applied and paid the fee can sign in at sletregistration.cbrt.co.in, view their dummy admit card and correct any wrong detail between 2 November and 5 November 2026.

This is a short window, and it is the last chance to fix errors. BSEB has made it clear that no correction of any kind will be allowed once the final admit card is issued. If your name, photo, category or any other detail is wrong, sort it out before 11:59 pm on 5 November.

Bihar SLET 2026: Dates Confirmed So Far

The examination date, centre and timing will be printed on the final admit card. As of 3 November 2026, BSEB has not published a confirmed exam schedule on the SLET portal, so treat any date you see elsewhere as tentative until the board confirms it.

What the Dummy Admit Card Is For

A dummy admit card is a preview of the details BSEB will use to print your final admit card. It lets you catch mistakes in your application while they can still be fixed. According to BSEB’s instructions for candidates:

• The dummy admit card is not valid for entry into the examination centre.
• It does not carry your roll number, the name of the exam centre, or the exam date and time. These will appear only on the final admit card.
• All corrections must be made online between 2 and 5 November 2026 using your own User ID and password.
• No correction will be permitted after the final admit card is issued.

How to Download the Bihar SLET Dummy Admit Card 2026

1. Go to the official portal, sletregistration.cbrt.co.in.
2. Click on “Sign in to edit your details” or the Login button. The option is open only to candidates whose fee payment is complete.
3. Enter your User ID and password.
4. The “Candidate Detail” screen will open, showing the details you submitted. Your dummy admit card can be viewed from here.
5. Check every field carefully, then download or save a copy for your records.

Details to Check on the Dummy Admit Card

Go through the card slowly and compare it with your certificates and the application you submitted. Pay particular attention to:

• Your full name, and your father’s and mother’s names
• Date of birth and gender
• Category (General, BC, EBC, SC, ST) and PwD status
• Photograph and signature
• Educational qualification details
• Contact details such as mobile number and email

How to Correct Errors in the Dummy Admit Card

BSEB has published step-by-step instructions on the portal. The process requires you to upload proof for every change you make, so keep scanned PDF copies of the relevant documents ready before you log in.

1. Log in to the admit card portal with your User ID and password.
2. On the “Candidate Detail” screen, enter the correct information in the relevant fields under “Correct Details”.
3. Click the “Go to Document & Payment” button at the bottom right of the screen and move to the next page.
4. Against each field you have changed, click the “VIEW” button under the “Claim” section and upload a PDF of the supporting document. A separate document is needed for each corrected field.
5. Click “SAVE CORRECTION”, then “OK” in the alert message. The revised dummy admit card will appear on the screen.
6. If you still find a mistake, use the edit option at the top of the screen and repeat the steps.
7. When everything is correct, click “FINAL SUBMIT”.

Category Change and Fee Difference

One rule catches many candidates off guard. If you change your category from SC, ST or PwD to General, Backward Class or Extremely Backward Class during correction, you must pay the difference in examination fee for the new category. If the difference is not paid, BSEB will not accept the change of category.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Waiting for the last day. Portals slow down near deadlines and the window closes at 11:59 pm on 5 November.
• Making a change without uploading proof. Every corrected field needs its own supporting PDF.
• Forgetting to click “FINAL SUBMIT” after saving corrections.
• Assuming the dummy card can be used at the exam centre. It cannot.
• Not saving a copy of the corrected dummy admit card for your own record.

After the correction window closes, BSEB will issue the final admit card with the roll number, centre, exam date and reporting time. The board has not yet announced when it will be released.
