UP Board 10th Time Table 2027: Class 10 Exam Dates and PDF

UP Board 10th time table 2027 is out: High School exams run 5 to 24 Feb in two shifts. Full paper-wise dates, timings, admit card update and PDF steps.

UP Board 10th Time Table 2027 cover: High School papers 5 to 24 February, shift timings and PDF

Class 10 students across Uttar Pradesh now have their February fixed. The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj, put out the UP Board 10th time table 2027 on 12 October 2026, and the High School papers will start on Friday, 5 February 2027 with Hindi and close on Wednesday, 24 February 2027 with Agriculture. That is a little under 16 weeks away. We went through the board’s five-page notice line by line and pulled out only the High School column, so you do not have to squint at the Intermediate subjects printed alongside.

Below you will find the complete paper-wise schedule, the two shift timings, what the board has and has not said yet about practicals and admit cards, and a week-by-week study plan that works backwards from 5 February.

  • Notice issued by UPMSP Secretary Bhagwati Singh, dated 12 October 2026
  • High School and Intermediate exams run together from 5 February to 24 February 2027
  • Morning shift: 8:30 am to 11:45 am; evening shift: 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm
  • First Class 10 paper: Hindi and Prarambhik Hindi (5 Feb); last: Agriculture (24 Feb)
  • Mathematics on 13 Feb, Science on 17 Feb, English on 10 Feb, Social Science on 8 Feb
  • Practical dates and admit cards: not announced yet

What the 12 October UPMSP notice actually says

The release is a short Hindi vigyapti from the office of the Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj, followed by four pages of a combined date sheet. The cover page carries the signature of Secretary Bhagwati Singh and the date 12-10-2026. A copy was marked to newspaper editors with a request to print it on the front page free of cost, which is why you may have seen it in the Hindi dailies the next morning.

Note: The notice reads: “हाईस्कूल एवं इण्टरमीडिएट की परीक्षायें एक साथ दिनांक–05.02.2027 से प्रारम्भ होकर दिनांक–24.02.2027 को समाप्त होंगी।” In plain English: the High School and Intermediate exams will begin together on 5 February 2027 and end on 24 February 2027. (UPMSP notice, 12 October 2026)

The date sheet itself has four columns: day and date, time, the High School subject, and the Intermediate subject. Every exam day is split into a morning and an evening sitting, but High School does not have a paper in every sitting. On most days Class 10 writes only in the morning, and the evening slot goes to Class 12. That pattern matters for planning, and we come back to it under shift timings.

UP Board 10th Time Table 2027: Full Paper-wise Schedule

Here is every High School paper in the order UPMSP has listed it. Subject names are translated from the Hindi original; where the board has written a condition next to a subject, such as the two Home Science papers, we have kept that condition. Dates on which only Intermediate papers are scheduled are left out.

How much time you get between the main papers

Most Class 10 students in UP Board schools sit for Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science, plus one more subject such as Sanskrit, Home Science, Drawing or Computer. Lay those five main papers side by side and the gaps look like this. Hindi on 5 February is followed by Social Science on 8 February, so you get Saturday and Sunday in between. English comes on 10 February, a single clear day after Social Science. Mathematics falls on Saturday, 13 February, two days after English, though students who have Home Science will be writing that paper on the 12th, the day right before Maths.

Science on 17 February is the last of the big five. Between Maths and Science sit Sanskrit (15th) and the regional language paper (16th). If you take Sanskrit, you effectively have Sunday the 14th and Tuesday the 16th for Science revision. That is not a lot for a syllabus that covers physics, chemistry and biology, so the bulk of Science work has to be finished before the exam fortnight begins. We have built the study plan further down with that in mind.

Optional, language and vocational subjects

The second half of the window is mostly optional papers. Computer (18th), Commerce (19th), Urdu (20th), Drawing and Ranjan Kala (22nd), Music Vocal (23rd) and Agriculture (24th) run almost daily, which is fine because a student rarely takes more than one of them. The 13 regional languages, from Gujarati and Punjabi to Malayalam and Nepali, share a single morning on 16 February. Students in the vocational stream should mark 10 February in red: the ten trade papers, including Electrician, Solar System Repair and IT/ITeS, are all in the evening on the same day English is held in the morning.

Shift timings for UP Board Class 10 exams

The 2027 date sheet uses two fixed sittings on every exam day. The first shift runs from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and the second from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Both slots are 3 hours 15 minutes long on paper. Your centre superintendent will brief you on how that window is used on the day, including when the answer book is handed out and when you may start writing.

An 8:30 start is early, especially in rural blocks where the allotted centre can be some distance from home and February mornings are foggy. Reaching the gate by around 8 am leaves room for frisking, finding your room and settling down. If you are used to studying late at night, start shifting your sleep at least three weeks before 5 February. A brain that has been awake since 6 am for a fortnight does better at 8:30 than one dragged out of bed at 7.

Class 10 papers that fall in the evening shift

Only five High School slots are in the afternoon, and every one of them is a smaller or specialised subject:

  • 9 February: Human Science (Manav Vigyan)
  • 10 February: the ten vocational trade papers
  • 17 February: Music (Instrumental)
  • 18 February: Sewing (Silai)
  • 23 February: Pali, Arabic, Persian

Watch the double days. A vocational student writes English at 8:30 am and the trade paper at 2 pm on 10 February. A student with Music Instrumental will write Science in the morning and Music in the evening on the 17th. Pack lunch and water, and do not go home in between if the centre is far.

UP Board 10th practical exam dates 2027

The 12 October notice covers only the theory papers. UPMSP has not yet published a separate schedule for High School practicals or internal assessment on upmsp.edu.in, so the practical dates are not announced yet. Some websites are already quoting practical dates; we could not find any of them on the board’s own site, and we would not plan around them.

In practice, Class 10 practical and project work in UP Board schools is handled through your own school, and the timing is usually fixed once the board issues its practical circular. Ask your subject teacher which projects, files and practical notebooks are to be submitted, and get them finished in November and December. Leaving a Science file or a Drawing portfolio for January will eat into the revision weeks you need most.

UP Board 10th admit card 2027: where things stand

Admit cards for the 2027 exam have not been released. UP Board admit cards have usually gone to schools rather than straight to students, with the principal handing them over, so keep in touch with your school office. Private (individual) candidates should follow the instructions the board issues for them. Once the board announces a date, we will add it here.

There is one step happening right now that feeds into the admit card. On 12 October 2026 the board also issued a notice asking principals to download the photo-attached nominal roll (namawali) of registered Class 9 to 12 students from the board portal and submit it, with a copy of the treasury challan, to the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) office by 15 October 2026. The notice says the portal now has options to fix common problems such as a missing student photo, a missing fee challan or a duplicate registration.

Important: Ask your class teacher to show you your entry in the school’s nominal roll. Check your name, father’s and mother’s names, date of birth, photo and subject list. A wrong subject code at this stage can mean the wrong question paper in February, and corrections get harder once admit cards are printed.

Exam-day checklist for Class 10 students

The detailed centre instructions usually arrive closer to the exams, along with the admit card. Until then, this is the routine our desk suggests for every paper day. Treat it as practical advice, not the board’s rulebook; whatever your centre superintendent or the admit card says will take precedence.

  1. Keep the admit card in a transparent folder from the day you get it. Make two photocopies and leave them with a parent.
  2. Check your centre the week before. Go there once, at the hour you will travel, to see how long the journey actually takes.
  3. Carry blue or black pens (at least two), a pencil, an eraser, a sharpener, a scale and, for Maths and Science, a geometry box. Use a clear pouch.
  4. Leave your mobile phone, smartwatch, notes, chits and calculator at home. Electronic devices and written material are not allowed inside exam rooms, and an unfair-means case can cost you the whole result.
  5. Fill your roll number and other details on the answer book carefully before you start answering. Do not write your name or any personal mark inside the answer book.
  6. Read the full question paper once before you write, mark the questions you are sure of, and keep an eye on the clock so the last section is not rushed.

How to download the UP Board 10th time table 2027 PDF

The PDF is a scanned copy of the signed notice, about 2 MB, so it opens fine on a phone. Download it from the board’s site rather than from a forwarded WhatsApp image, because only the official file shows the signature and dispatch number.

  1. Open the official UPMSP website, upmsp.edu.in.
  2. On the home page, look in the notices section for the line “हाईस्कूल एवं इंटरमीडिएट बोर्ड परीक्षा-2027 का परीक्षा कार्यक्रम (समय सारिणी)”.
  3. Click it. The five-page PDF (file name TimeTable_2027_Vigyapti.pdf) opens in your browser.
  4. Page 1 is the notice. Pages 2 to 5 are the date sheet; read column 3, which is the High School column.
  5. Save the file, and print one copy to stick next to your study table.

One small tip: highlight only your own subjects on the printout. A sheet showing every Intermediate trade and language is confusing to glance at in a hurry, and a highlighted copy is what you will actually look at every morning.

A preparation timeline from now to 5 February

From 19 October to 5 February you have just over 15 weeks. That sounds comfortable until you subtract Diwali, winter cold, pre-board tests and the practical work your school will ask for. The plan below divides the time into four stretches. It is a template; shift the weeks around your school’s pre-board dates.

Late October to November: finish the syllabus

Close every remaining chapter in Maths and Science first, since both are scheduled after the first week and both need practice, not just reading. Keep one hour daily for Hindi and English grammar, where marks come quickly once the rules are clear. Wrap up project files and practical notebooks in this phase too.

December: first full revision and past papers

Do one complete revision of all subjects, making short notes as you go. Start solving previous years’ UP Board papers under a timer. Treat Social Science as a December job rather than a February one, because its paper on 8 February leaves only a weekend after Hindi for a final read.

January: pre-boards and weak areas

Most schools hold pre-board exams in January. Use the marks to pick out weak chapters, not to panic. Write at least one full 8:30 am mock paper every week so that your body gets used to the board’s morning slot. By the last week of January, the aim is quick revision from your own notes, not new textbooks.

5 to 24 February: paper-by-paper mode

Once the exams begin, study only for the next paper. After Hindi, spend the weekend on Social Science maps and dates. After English, give the two days to Maths formulas and solved examples. Between Maths and Science, protect Sunday 14 February entirely for Science diagrams and numericals. Sleep by 10:30 pm every night of the fortnight.

Other Class 10 board schedules and what to watch next

If your family is comparing boards, or you have a sibling in a central board school, our desk has also covered the CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2027 and the ICSE Class 10 time table 2027. Older siblings can check the CBSE Class 12 date sheet and the ISC Class 12 time table. All exam schedules are collected on our board exams page.

With the UP Board 10th time table 2027 settled, the next updates to look out for are the practical exam circular, the admit card release to schools and, after the exams, the result on the board’s results portal. We will post each of them in our education news section and follow up on the results page when the UP Board High School result is declared.
