ICSE 10th Time Table 2027: Class 10 Exam Dates, PDF Download

ICSE 10th time table 2027 is not out yet. See last year's exam dates, paper timings, how to download the PDF from cisce.org and admit card basics.

ICSE Class 10 Time Table 2027 – Exam dates status & download steps

Students looking for the ICSE 10th time table 2027 will have to wait a little longer. As of 19 October 2026, CISCE has not released it; the latest exam notice on cisce.org is a 9 October circular on specimen papers, not a date sheet. Its examination page gives only the window, February to March 2027, with results expected in May 2027. Until the PDF is out, the 2026 schedule below, clearly marked as last year’s, is the best guide.

When will the ICSE 10th time table 2027 come out? Last year’s release date

For the 2026 exams, CISCE published the ICSE (Class X) timetable on 13 November 2025. That is the date printed on the signed PDF from Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive and Secretary, and the notice appears in the CISCE notifications archive alongside the ISC timetable. The papers began roughly three months later.

The ICSE 2026 schedule, paper by paper (for reference)

This is last year’s official timetable, taken from the ICSE 2026 timetable PDF. Please do not treat these as the ICSE 10th time table 2027. They show the order CISCE followed and the gaps it left between papers, which helps when you sketch a revision plan.

  • Wed, 25 Mar – Commercial Studies and French (Group II Elective), 11 am, 2 hours
  • Fri, 27 Mar – Economics (Group II Elective), 11 am, 2 hours
  • Mon, 30 Mar – Environmental Science (Group II Elective), 11 am, 2 hours

Notice the pattern. English came first, Maths sat in the first week of March, and the three science papers were spread across one week with a day’s gap between each. The Group II and Group III electives filled the last stretch.

Exam-day timings you should know

The 2026 timetable carried a short set of notes that matter on the day itself. Going by those notes:

  • You get 15 minutes of reading time on top of the writing time printed against each paper.
  • For papers starting at 11 am, reading time began at 10:45 am. For 9 am papers (the Art papers), it began at 8:45 am.
  • You had to be seated in the exam hall by 10:30 am for 11 am papers and by 8:30 am for 9 am papers.
  • The directions to candidates asked you to be seated 30 minutes before the paper and not to leave the hall before it ends.
Note: These timings are from the 2026 timetable. CISCE may keep or change them for 2027, so check the notes at the bottom of the new PDF once it is out.

What you can carry into the ICSE exam hall

The first page of the ICSE 2026 timetable is a set of directions to candidates, and it is more specific than most students expect. Schools are asked to train students in these rules, and every exam room is under CCTV.

RuleWhat the 2026 directions said
DressSchool uniform for regular students; light-coloured clothes for candidates not in regular attendance
AllowedAdmission Card issued by CISCE; blue or black pens, pencils, scale, eraser, sharpener, coloured pencils, drawing instruments and art material, all in a transparent pouch
Not allowedTextbooks, photocopies, chits, notes; smartwatches, mobile phones, earphones, wireless devices, cameras; wallets, currency notes, handbags; any sharp object
Reading time15 minutes on top of the writing time. You must not write during it
Leaving earlyNot allowed before the paper ends

Note that a calculator does not appear in the ICSE list of permitted items, unlike the ISC directions, which allow a basic or Casio fx-82 MS type scientific calculator.

Answer booklet rules that cost marks if ignored

  • Write your Unique ID, Index Number and Subject on the top sheet of the main answer booklet, and on every continuation booklet, graph or map you use.
  • Sign in the space given on the top sheet and do not scribble anywhere else on it. Do not write on the question paper or the Admission Card.
  • Use blue or black ink for answers. Pencil is only for diagrams.
  • Number each answer in the left margin exactly as the question paper numbers it, and do not copy out the question.
  • Ask for a continuation booklet only after the pages you have are full. At the end, attach every continuation booklet issued to you, used or not, at the top-left corner.
  • If you are handed a paper you are not entered for, or the questions mention a map or other material you have not received, tell the invigilator immediately.

Unfair means: how strict CISCE is

The same timetable spells out the penalties. Being caught giving or getting help can mean expulsion from the hall and refusal of entry to the remaining papers. Bringing in a phone, smartwatch or any device that can connect to the internet, carrying notes, or smuggling answer sheets in or out can lead to the results of the whole examination being cancelled, not just one paper. If unfair means turn out to be widespread at a centre, CISCE can cancel the results of every candidate there for the papers concerned.

How to download the ICSE 10th time table 2027 once it is out

Last year the timetable was posted as a notice on the CISCE website with the line “ICSE (Class X) Year 2026 Examination Timetable has been released”. Expect something similar this time. When it appears, here is how to get the PDF:

  1. Open the official site. Go to cisce.org on your phone or computer. Avoid lookalike sites that ask you to log in or pay.
  2. Check the latest notices. Look at the notifications on the home page, or open the Notifications archive.
  3. Find the ICSE notice. Click the item titled along the lines of “ICSE (Class X) Year 2027 Examination Timetable”. Make sure it says ICSE and not ISC, which is the Class 12 exam.
  4. Open the PDF. The timetable opens as a PDF. The first pages carry directions to candidates; the subject-wise schedule is near the end.
  5. Save and share. Download it, print a copy for your study table, and mark your own subjects. Cross-check every date with the copy your school circulates.

Admit card, practicals and internal assessment

Admit card. The timetable lists the Admission Card issued by CISCE as one of the few things you are allowed to carry into the exam hall. ICSE candidates are entered by their schools, and CISCE deals with schools through its CAREERS portal (its October 2026 circular, for instance, put the specimen papers there), so your school is the place to ask for the admit card. If your details look wrong on it, tell your class teacher immediately; do not wait for the exam week.

Internal assessment and SUPW. CISCE’s examination page lists three parts in the ICSE assessment structure: theory papers, internal assessment, and Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service, which the school assesses. Project and practical work in subjects with an internal assessment component is done in school. CISCE has not put a public 2027 deadline for this on its website, so the submission dates your school gives you are the ones to follow.

Important: CISCE does not announce dates on WhatsApp forwards. If a “leaked” or “final” ICSE 2027 date sheet reaches you before it is on cisce.org, treat it as fake.

Class 12 students can check the separate ISC 12th time table 2027 page. Timetables for other boards are gathered in our board exams section.

ICSE 2027 papers: what the specimen papers tell you

CISCE’s circular of 9 October 2026 (posted on 13 October) is the only official 2027 exam document so far. It says questions testing higher-order skills (apply, analyse, evaluate, create) will carry about 50% weightage in the 2027 examinations. Specimen papers and answer keys are out for these ICSE subjects:

  • English Language and Literature in English (English Papers 1 and 2)
  • History & Civics and Geography (HCG Papers 1 and 2)
  • Mathematics
  • Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Science Papers 1, 2 and 3)
  • Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, Assistant Beauty Therapist, Assistant Hair Stylist

For every other subject, the 2026 rubric and assessment structure continue. The circular also warns that the board papers may not match the specimen papers in format or content, while the topic-wise weightage in the official Regulations and Syllabuses will be followed strictly. So practise the format, but revise the full syllabus.

One more change is further away. In July 2026 CISCE announced a compulsory Health and Physical Education internal assessment from the 2028 examination onwards, so it does not apply to students writing ICSE in 2027. We follow CISCE circulars like these in our education news section.

An ICSE 2027 preparation calendar

CISCE has fixed the exam window as February to March 2027 with results expected in May 2027. Working back from that, and from how the 2026 papers were spread:

WhenFocus
Late October to November 2026Solve every specimen paper released on 9 October under timed conditions. Finish any pending chapters.
December 2026School preliminary exams. List weak chapters subject by subject.
January 2027Internal assessment and project submissions on the dates your school gives. Second revision.
Timetable release (November, going by 2025)Plot every paper. In 2026 English Language came first and Mathematics fell in the first week of March, with one-day gaps between the three science papers.
February to March 2027Exams. Use the gaps for the next paper only; do not revisit finished subjects.

If papers clash, or a paper goes badly

Real clashes are rare in the ICSE timetable. Where several subjects share a slot, as with the Group III electives on 23 February 2026, they are alternatives and a candidate takes only one of them. If you still find two of your own subjects on the same date and time, tell the school at once; candidates are entered by the school and only the school can raise it with CISCE.

If a paper goes badly, the 2026 timetable lays out three routes after the result:

  • Recheck: apply online within four days of the result. It only checks that every answer was marked, totals were correct and continuation sheets are intact.
  • Re-evaluation: apply within three days of the recheck result. The new marks are final whether they go up or down, and the fee is not refunded.
  • Improvement exam: held in the same year, for up to three subjects; the theory paper is compulsory and project marks are carried forward. Candidates marked ABSENT are not eligible. In 2026 CISCE issued the improvement exam timetables on 21 May.

CISCE keeps answer scripts for only 60 days after the result, so any challenge has to be made quickly. Result-day updates are posted in our results section.

Questions students keep asking

Is the ICSE 10th time table 2027 out?

No. As of 19 October 2026, CISCE has not published it. The Council’s examination page only gives the window, February to March 2027. Check cisce.org for the official PDF.

When did the ICSE 2026 exams start and end?

The ICSE 2026 exams ran from 17 February 2026 (English Language) to 30 March 2026 (Environmental Science), as per the official timetable dated 13 November 2025.

What time do ICSE papers start?

In 2026, most papers started at 11 am, with Art papers at 9 am. Each paper also had 15 minutes of reading time before the writing time began. Confirm the 2027 timings in the new timetable.

Can I download my ICSE admit card myself?

The admit card is issued by CISCE, and ICSE candidates are entered through their schools. Ask your school office about it as the exams get closer; for 2027 it has not been issued yet.
