Admit Card and Exam Day Basics

HSLC admit cards are issued through schools, not downloaded by students individually. Once your school receives them, check your name, roll number, subjects and centre carefully, and report any error to the head of your school straight away so it can be taken up with the board.

• Keep the admit card safe; you will need it for every paper and later for the result.
• Visit your exam centre a day before the first paper if you have not been there before.
• Reach the centre early on exam day and carry only permitted stationery.
• Read the instructions on the answer script and question paper before you start writing.

How to Use the Time Before the Routine Comes Out

• Finish the syllabus for all subjects by early December, so January can go into revision.
• Use the 2026-27 curriculum and syllabi PDF on the ASSEB website to check which chapters are in the course.
• Solve at least three full papers per subject under exam conditions, sticking to the three-hour limit.
• Make short notes for formulas, dates and definitions to revise in the last week.
