BSEB Dummy Admit Card 2027: Class 10, 12 Download, Correction
  • What is out: Dummy admit cards for BSEB Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) Annual Exam 2027
  • Check and correction window: 1 to 7 November 2026
  • Who makes corrections: School or college heads, through the board portal
  • 2027 exam dates: Not announced as of 3 November 2026
  • Matric portal: exam.biharboardonline.org
  • Inter portal: intermediate.biharboardonline.com

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has put out the dummy admit cards for the Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) Annual Examination 2027. This is not the hall ticket you will carry to the exam centre. It is a proof copy, and its only job is to let students and schools catch mistakes before the final admit card is printed.

Students have from 1 November to 7 November 2026 to look at the dummy card and get any errors fixed. Corrections are not made by students themselves. You take the problem to your school principal or college head, and the institution submits the change online. Once this week is over, fixing a wrong name spelling or subject code becomes far more difficult, so treat 7 November as a hard deadline.

Dummy Admit Card vs Final Admit Card

Many students mix the two up every year. The dummy admit card is generated from the details filled in at the time of registration and the exam form. It shows exactly what the board has on record for you. If something on it is wrong, the same mistake will appear on your final admit card, your marksheet and your passing certificate unless it is corrected now.

The dummy card cannot be used to enter the examination hall. The final admit card is released separately, closer to the exams, and is normally downloaded by schools and handed over to students. Keep the dummy copy anyway. It is useful proof if a dispute about your details comes up later.

How to Download the BSEB Class 10 Dummy Admit Card 2027

  1. Open the BSEB Matric portal, exam.biharboardonline.org.
  2. Click the link for the dummy admit card of the Annual Secondary Examination 2027.
  3. Enter the details asked for, usually your registration number and date of birth or the school login.
  4. Submit the form. The dummy admit card will open on screen.
  5. Check every entry carefully, then download and print a copy.

How to Download the BSEB Class 12 Dummy Admit Card 2027

  1. Visit the Intermediate portal, intermediate.biharboardonline.com.
  2. Open the dummy admit card link for the Intermediate Annual Examination 2027.
  3. Enter the login details requested on the page, such as the registration number and date of birth, or the college code if the institution is logging in.
  4. Submit and open the dummy admit card.
  5. Match the stream (Science, Commerce or Arts) and every subject with what you actually study, then save a printed copy.

If the portal is slow during the first few days, try again early in the morning or late at night. Do not wait for the last day, because traffic peaks just before the deadline.

Details to Check on the Dummy Admit Card

Go through the card line by line with your Class 10 certificate (for Inter students), your Aadhaar card and your school records in front of you. Check:

  • Your full name and its spelling
  • Father’s name and mother’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender and category
  • Registration number and roll details
  • School or college name and code
  • Stream and faculty (for Class 12)
  • Subject names and subject codes, including optional and additional subjects
  • Photograph and signature
  • Examination centre details, if shown

A wrong subject code is the mistake students most often miss. It looks like a small number, but it decides which question paper you receive in the hall. If your optional subject is printed wrongly, report it straight away.

How to Get Errors Corrected

  1. Print the dummy admit card and mark the wrong entry clearly.
  2. Write the correct detail next to it and attach a copy of the supporting document, such as your birth certificate, Class 10 marksheet or Aadhaar.
  3. Take it to your school principal or college head within the 1 to 7 November 2026 window.
  4. The institution makes the correction online through its own login on the BSEB portal.
  5. After the school confirms the change, download the dummy card again if the portal allows it and check that the correction has been saved.

Students cannot log in and edit the details themselves, so start early. Schools handle hundreds of cases in the same week, and a request that reaches the principal on 7 November may not be processed in time.

What Happens After the Correction Window

Once the dummy admit card stage is over, BSEB will move on to the final admit cards and the exam timetable. As of 3 November 2026, the board has not announced dates for the Matric and Intermediate Annual Exam 2027. For reference, in the last cycle BSEB began the Intermediate exams on 2 February 2026 and the Matric exams on 17 February 2026, with the timetable announced towards the end of November 2025. The 2027 schedule may follow a similar pattern, but nothing is official until the board publishes it.

Practical exams and internal assessments are usually held before the theory papers, so keep an eye on notices from your school as well. You can follow state-wise board exam schedules in our Board Exam Time Table 2027 tracker, which is updated as boards release their dates.

Tips for Students and Parents

  • Do not ignore a small spelling difference. Your name must match across your Aadhaar, certificates and board records for future admissions and jobs.
  • Keep the printed dummy card and the receipt or acknowledgment from your school in one folder.
  • Ask the school to show you the corrected record before 7 November ends.
  • Use only the official BSEB portals. Ignore links shared on social media that ask for payment to “fix” an admit card.
  • If your school is not responding, contact the BSEB office through the helpline listed on the official website.
