JEE Main 2027 Registration Dates
For Session 1, the NTA has made the application form link live on the website. However, the exact opening date and last date to submit the application form are 24 October 2026 and 22 November 2026 respectively. The candidates are advised to complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid last minute technical issues and late fee payment of Rs 500 if submitted between 23 and 26 November 2026. NTA JEE Main 2027 Application Form
The NTA JEE Main 2027 Application Form for Session 1 is available on the JEE Main Website. The Session 1 dates are in the NTA notice dated 24 October 2026, and the tentative Session 2 schedule is in the JEE Main 2027 information bulletin. JEE Main 2027 Exam Date
NTA released Session 1 exam dates. As per the NTA’s exam calendar, the examination is scheduled for January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, 2027. The session 2 examination is to be held on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 April 2027 and before appearing for the examination, Exam City Intimation Slip will be available prior to the exam dates. JEE Main 2027 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who passed Class 12 examination in 2025 or 2026, also including those appearing in 2027, may apply, subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions by the NTA in JEE Main 2027 notification.
- Age Limit: NTA generally doesn’t impose any age limit but the candidates have to satisfy the examination requirements.
- Number of attempts: The exam is held once every year in 2 sessions where the candidates can apply for 1 or both. There is an eligibility window covering 3 consecutive years.
- Class 12th marks : as per NITs, IIITs and other participating institutions, the candidates need at least 75% marks or position within top 20 percentile of their respective Board. The minimum marks for SC and ST candidates is 65%. This shall not be confused with basic eligibility of JEE Main.
