The Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES) has released Recruitment Notification 01/2026 for 254 teaching posts in its schools. AEES is an aided body under the Department of Atomic Energy and runs 30 CBSE-affiliated schools across 15 centres, including Anushaktinagar and Tarapur in Maharashtra, Kaiga and Mysuru in Karnataka, Kudankulam and Kalpakkam in Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad and Manuguru in Telangana, Narora in Uttar Pradesh and Rawatbhata in Rajasthan.
The vacancies cover Principal, Vice-Principal, PGT, TGT, Librarian, Primary Teacher (PRT), PRT (Music) and Balvatika Teacher. The online application window opened on 2 November 2026 and closes at 11:50 pm on 22 November 2026. These are regular posts filled by direct recruitment, not contract jobs. Selected candidates will be on probation for two years, which the competent authority can extend.

Age is counted as on the closing date for applications. Relaxation for reserved categories follows Government of India rules as set out in the notification.
Educational Qualification
- PGT: Master’s degree (or integrated postgraduate course) in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, plus B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognised institution, as specified for each subject.
- TGT: Bachelor’s degree with the relevant subjects and at least 50% marks, plus B.Ed., or a four-year integrated B.Ed. course, as specified for each subject.
- PRT: Class 12 with at least 50% marks plus a two-year D.El.Ed., or a four-year B.El.Ed., or a two-year D.Ed. (Special Education) from RCI.
- Principal and Vice-Principal: Master’s degree with at least 50% marks, B.Ed., and the teaching or administrative experience set out in the notification.
A valid CTET certificate, issued on or before the closing date, is essential for PRT and TGT posts, except Music, Art Education, Librarian and Physical Education posts. Read the full subject-wise conditions in the notification before you apply, because each subject lists its own required combinations.

Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) for all posts.
- Skill test or interview, depending on the post.
- Document verification of shortlisted candidates, as laid down in the notification.
After the CBT, AEES will publish the answer key within three days. Candidates get 72 hours to raise objections online, and the final key will be released within 15 days of the test.
