AP Inter 1st & 2nd Year Exam Time Table 2027: Subject-Wise Dates and PDF Download
Updated 23 Oct 2026: BIEAP has released the provisional timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2027. Dates can still change before the final schedule.

First-year students in Andhra Pradesh will open their board exams on Wednesday, 24 February 2027, and second-year students a day later. The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has released the provisional AP Inter time table 2027, and it follows the board’s usual pattern: the two years write on alternate days, so a first-year paper on one day is followed by the matching second-year paper the next morning. The last paper is on Tuesday, 16 March 2027.

Practicals come well before the theory papers, in the first half of February, and two compulsory papers, Ethics and Human Values and Environmental Education, are scheduled even earlier, in the last week of January. Below are the complete subject-wise dates for both years, the practical window, exam timings and what the board has said about backlog and old-syllabus candidates.

  • Board: Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP)
  • 1st year theory exams: 24 February to 15 March 2027
  • 2nd year theory exams: 25 February to 16 March 2027
  • Timing: 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon (single shift)
  • Practicals: 1 to 10 February 2027 (general), 1 to 15 February 2027 (vocational)
  • Status: Provisional; final timetable to be confirmed by BIEAP

AP Inter 1st Year Time Table 2027

All first-year (Paper I) exams fall on the earlier date of each pair. The paper runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon on every day.

How the gaps work out

For a second-year science student the core papers come in the first half of March: Mathematics on 2 March or Biology on 4 March, then Physics on 8 March and Chemistry on 11 March. The gap between 4 and 8 March, which includes a weekend, is the longest free spell in the middle of the exams and is best kept for Physics revision. Commerce and arts students get the same rhythm with Economics on 8 March and Commerce on 11 March.

First-year students start a day earlier and end a day earlier. If you are writing both years together (for example, a backlog first-year paper with second-year exams), check that your two papers do not land on clashing dates; the alternate-day design is meant to prevent that.

Practical Exams and Other Compulsory Papers

Practical examinations come before the theory papers. Colleges will tell each student the exact batch, date and laboratory.

ExamDateTiming
Ethics and Human ValuesWednesday, 27 January 202710:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Environmental EducationFriday, 29 January 202710:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Practicals (general courses)1 to 10 February 20279:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Practicals (vocational courses)1 to 15 February 2027Two sessions, as for general courses
NSQF Level-4 vocational trade theoryWednesday, 17 February 202710:00 AM to 12:00 noon

Practicals can be held on Sundays as well, so keep the whole first half of February free until your college gives you a batch.

Backlog and Old-Syllabus Candidates

BIEAP’s notice treats students who failed the IPE/IPASE 2026 exams as backlog candidates under the current rules. Those who failed before the 2026 exams may have to write papers under the old syllabus, and the timetable lists some separate old-syllabus papers. If you fall in either group, read the line for your category in the official PDF rather than the general table, because the paper code can differ.

Vocational students should wait for the separate vocational timetable for their full subject list; the general schedule only gives the common dates.

AP Inter Hall Ticket 2027

The hall ticket for the theory exams has not been released yet, and BIEAP has not announced a date. We will add the date and the download steps here as soon as the board puts them out.

When it arrives, check the spelling of your name, photograph, group, medium and every paper code. Any mistake should be reported to your college principal straight away, since corrections are made through the college.

Exam-Day Instructions

  • Reach the centre well before 9:00 AM so that you are seated before the paper begins.
  • Carry the hall ticket and a college ID card. Only permitted stationery is allowed inside.
  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators and any electronic device are not allowed in the hall.
  • Write your hall ticket number only where it is asked for. Any other identification mark on the answer booklet can invalidate the paper.

Planning Your Revision Around These Dates

About four months remain before the first paper. A practical way to use the timetable is to work backwards from your last exam: finish the full syllabus by the end of December, use January for two full revisions and the two compulsory papers, and keep the practical dates in early February free from heavy theory study. Old question papers from the board website help most for Mathematics and Physics, where the pattern of long-answer questions repeats.

Students from other states can compare the timing with the TN 12th time table 2027 and the Karnataka 2nd PUC time table 2027, and CBSE students in Andhra Pradesh should follow the CBSE 12th date sheet 2027 instead. More state schedules are on our board exams page.
